Lawrence Grall, age 69, of 316 6th St., Reedsville, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 1995, at North Ridge Medical and Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, following a battle with cancer. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am. On Wednesday, September 20, 1995, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville. Father Ronald Guillette will officiate with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
He was born July 30, 1926, in the town of Kossuth, son of the late Emil and Julia Schusta Grall.
He married Dorothy Peronto May 6, 1950, in Two Rivers.
Mr. Grall served in the United States Army and then worked for Appleton Papers until his retirement. He as a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Reedsville, the Holy Name Society, and also helped the Red Cross by driving and serving Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Lois Grall, Manitowoc; three sons, Roger, at home, Ronald, Manitowoc, Lyle, at home; a sister, Ruth Wellner, Manitowoc; two brothers, Howard (Grace) Hanlon, Appleton, Emil (Delores) Grall, Manitowoc.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday and from 7:45 a.m. until 10 a.m. Wednesday when family rites will be held. There is also a parish vigil at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
