ROLAND A HABERMANN
Roland A. Habermann, age 90, of 20312 Hwy. 151, Valders, was born to eternal life on Friday, Nov. 23, 2001, at Willowdale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, New Holstein.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Collins. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Ross Henzi. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, town of Kossuth.
He was born on April 8, 1911, in the town of Eaton, the son of the late William and Ernestine Jahnke Habermann. Roland attended Niles Grade School. He married the former Verona Valleskey on Jan. 8, 1938, at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Collins. She preceded him in death on Feb. 6, 1987.
Roland farmed for many years, he hauled milk for Reisterer and Schnell and also was employed at aTecumseh Products for over 20 years. He was very active at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church where he served on many committees.
Roland is survived by one son Randall R. Habermann, Chilton; three grandchildren, Ronald Habermann Sr. and special friend Kaye Kretschman, Chilton, Rochelle and Herman Siedschlag, Valders, Rachel and Greg Anderson, Hammond, Wis.; two great-grandsons, Michael Habermann and Ronald Habermann Jr.; one brother and two sisters-in-law, The Rev. Elwood and Linda Habermann, Oshkosh and Dorothy Habermann, New Holstein. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Judith Habermann, two brothers Raymond and William Habermann, one daughter-in-law Marie J. Habermann.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 26, 2001 at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Collins.
