George T. Crosswhite, former resident of this county, died on December 14th in Topeka, Kans. The following account of his passing appeared in a Topeka paper:
"George T. Crosswhite, of 1516 North Tyler street, died Friday in the Santa Fe hospital. He had been a resident of Topeka 22 years and a carpenter in the employ of the Santa Fe Railroad Co. 20 years. He was a member of the Masonic lodge at Oberlin, Beulah chapter No. 4 O. E. S. and the Modern Woodmen's lodge.
"He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. C. E. Cochran, Topeka; a sister, Mrs. W. D. Williamson, Paradise, Kan., and two brothers, Charles and James Crosswhite, Jameson, Mo. Funeral services will be at Penwell's chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The body will lie in state at the chapel from 10 a. m. until the funeral hour. Burial will be in Fair Lawn addition of Mount Hope cemetery."
