He married Lucinda in the Mississinewa Monthly Meeting, Marion, Grant Co., Indiana. Sarapa was their daughter b. 23 Sept 1858
I think Lucinda died about that time because he married Betsey on 27 July 1863. Beulah that I listed as one of the children by Betsey m. Webster Culler and had one child, Elsie Culler 21 Sept 1870 and d. 30 June 1870
Amos W. Carpenter also married Betsey Knight, d/o Thomas Knight and Phebe Amm Pemberton. The Knight family went back to Giles Knight & Mary English that came with William Penn in 1682. Betsey died 9 October 1870 but I do not know where. I would have thought that it was at the same cemetery as he because it was the Quaker Burial Grounds. But I could and am wrong sometimes. lol I will start looking for her thou. They had 3 children
1-Sarah Carpenter 3 May 1865
m. Morris Samuel Teague
2-Beulah Carpenter 1 Nov 1866
3-Peninah Carpenter 11 February 1869.

Now I got this from someone that has access to the Monthly Meeting records.
