KATHLEEN HERR
Kathleen Herr, 52, of 10432 Highway 42, Town of Meeme, died Thursday morning, December 12, at Fairview Hospital, Minneapolis, where she had been a patient the past four weeks.
Funeral services will be 8:45 am Monday at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel and 9:30 am at St. Isadore Catholic church, Osman. Rev. Lee Kahrs will officiate and entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
Mrs. Herr, nee Kathleen Knier, was born August 7, 1933 in the Town of Meeme, daughter of Hildegard Gries and the late George Knier. She was a graduate of Valders High School, Class of 1951.
She married Frederick Herr on October 4, 1952 at St. Isadore Catholic Church, Osman. After marriage the couple resided in the Town of Meeme. Mrs. Herr was a member of St. Isadore Catholic church. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society and Catholic Knights.
Survivors include her husband, Frederick; her mother, Hildegard, of Osman; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Sue of Cleveland and David at home; eight daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Marlene) Brunner of Manitowoc, Mrs. Charles (Beverly) Jeanty of New Holstein, Mrs. Ronald (Trudy) Boldt of Manitowoc, Mrs. Gerald (Nancy) Wasmer of Howards Grove, Mrs. John(Janelle) Moritz of Kiel, Mrs. Kevin (Laura) Stein of Two Rivers and Patty and Chris at home; a brother, Kenneth Knier of Valders; a sister, Mrs. Lillian Hickman of School Hill and 13 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 3 pm Sunday where a wake service will be at 8 pm Sunday evening.
