Mr. Clifford K. Spears, age 66 of Briggsville died Saturday, December 12, 1992 at his home in Briggsville. He was a retired fanner, a native of Briggsville, son of the late William Issac and Minnie Keys Spears, a WWII Army Tank Gunner, Member of the VFW.

Survivors are his wife, Jean Nichols Spears; four sons, Billy Hill, Jerry Spears, Tony Spears and Randy Spears all of Briggsville; two sisters, Marie Lawson of Waldron and Betty Willis of Briggsville; mother-in-law, Bertha Nichols of Briggsville; two uncles, Bill Spears of Briggsville and Loy Spears of Rover; two aunts, Jewel Melton of Briggsville and Unice Scott of Hot Springs and nine grandchildren.

Services were December 13 at Briggsville Methodist church with the Rev. John Harod officiating. Interment was in Mt. Zion Cemetery by Cornwell Funeral Service. Pallbearers were Kenneth Spears, Rick Sherrill, Ronnie Spears, Billy Lofland, Billy Joe Melton, Thurman Spears and Larry Willis. Honorary, Howard Turner.
