Reinhart (Happy) Herrmann, 76, of 131 W. Menasha Ave., Whitelaw, died Monday morning, April 3, 1989, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Mr. Herrmann was born August 2, 1912 in the Town of Franklin, son of the late John and Lena Andres Herrmann. He attended the former Highland Grade School.
He married the former Olive Kliment on November 19, 1936 at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.
"Happy" was employed at Medusa Cement Company for over 30 years, retiring in 1976. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at their home in Little Sturgeon. The couple celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary in 1966. He was a member of the Catholic Knights Branch 86 of Francis Creek.
The beloved husband of the former Olive Kliment is survived by his wife; a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Bernice Herrmann of Francis Creek; a sister, Dorothy Kohlbeck of Redding, California; a sister-in-law, Sylvia Kliment of Francis Creek; a special family, Carl Bolle and his family, Pat and Jack Cumming of Reifs Mills; Church Bolle of Buckeye, Arizona; Sandy and Charles Reed of Beloit; Mary and John Mueller of Cape Coral, Florida; Judy and Hank Bajdan of Whitelaw; also surviving are 22 children of the above Bolle families; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a brother-in-law, Gordon Kohlbeck.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Saur Funeral Home, Kellnersville and 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Mass of Christian Burial will be followed by entombment in Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
