KENNETH T. HETUE

Kenneth T. Hetue, age 85, a resident of the Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, since September, died early Wednesday morning, March 22, 2006, at the Hamilton Home.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, March 25, 2006, at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. William G. O'Brien, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

Ken was born Aug. 19, 1920, in Two Rivers, a son of the late Thomas J. and Dorothy (Boutin) Hetue. He attended St. Luke Catholic Grade School and Washington High School, Two Rivers, graduating with the class of 1938. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Germany during World War II and the Korean Conflict. Ken served as a piper cub pilot, earning the rank of first Lieutenant. On Jan. 3, 1942, he married the former Lorraine Mushel in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death July 15, 1988. Ken was employed at Hamilton Industries for 42 years, serving as shop foreman for 17 years, and retired in 1982. He was a longtime member of the Hamilton Goodfellowship Club, February Club, and the Two Rivers Senior Center. He also served on the board of directors of Shoreline Credit Union for many years. Kenny also enjoyed traveling and socializing.

He was preceded in death by one brother: Raymond Hetue.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, Two Rivers, after 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of service at noon. There will be no visitation this evening.
