THE BAY CITY TIMES, November 8, 1978 Age 38 years, passed away November 7, 1978 at Bay Medical Center. She was born in Bay City on August 5, 1940. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Melvin Aldrich in July 1977. Surviving are two children, Melvin and Brenda Lee (Mary) both at home, her mother, Mrs. Ione Gilbert, Bay City, 4 step children, George, Junior, Dorothy and Elizabeth Aldrich, all of Toledo, 3 sisters, Ella Schumann and Vivian Roe, both of Pinconning, Mary Schmidt and 4 brothers, George, Frank, Harold and Clayton Gilbert all of Bay City. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Penzien Funeral Home. The Rev. John W. Rauh will officiate with interment in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Friends may call after 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
