Mrs. Anna M. Sewell
Mrs. Anna Marie Sewell, 60, 414 Lincoln, died late Friday, June 3, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born Feb. 15, 1923, at Topeka, the daughter of Matthew and Catherine Jack Johnson. She lived in Topeka most of her life.
Mrs. Sewell was a clerk for Ed Marling Stores, McCall Electric, and Continental Shoe Co.
She was a member of the Free Methodist Church.
She was married to Ivan Sewell, Nov. 2, 1942, at Topeka. He survives.
Other survivors include a sister, Mrs. Vivian Brooks, Mrs. Violet Pratt and Lavera Humphrey, all of Topeka and a brother, Paul Johnson, Cotton, Calif.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, at Parker-Price Mortuary. Burial will be in Half Day Cemetery, Elmont. Family and friends will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 3003 Van Buren, Topeka.
