Mrs. Thomas L. Owen, age 80, of the Hughey community, died late Friday afternoon in the Lincoln County Hospital after a long illness.
Services were at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home. Rev. Glen Phillips and Rev. Newsom Harvey officiated. Burial was in the Barnes Cemetery near Fayetteville.
Mrs. Owen was the former Sara Ludie Harrison, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Eliza Barnes Harrison. Her husband died in 1950. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Hiram Smith of Lincoln County; one brother, Garland Harrison of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews.
