He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Shively Heights and retired from the Louisville Water Co.
He is survived by his wife, Gerthel Adams; children, Jordan, LaTonya Richardson (Orinthous) Alisia Jackson (Ralph) and Leon Smith (Shalida); parents, William and Pearlie Adams; and siblings, Daniel, Dale Richardson (Pamala), Tyrone (Liz), Frederick (Marilyn), Michael (Rachelle) and Island (Tina) Adams; grandmother, Anna Adams; mother-in-law, Ivy Craycroft; 11 grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a special great-niece, Trinity Bryant whom he helped raise.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at his church, 2627 Crums Lane, with the funeral to follow at 1 p.m. Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens, West. Arrangements: A. D. Porter & Sons, 1300 W. Chestnut St.
