MILTON A. HOPPE

Milton A. Hoppe, age 97, a resident of Hamilton Memorial Home, Two Rivers, died early on Monday morning, March 3, 2008, at the home.

Milton was born on Oct. 22, 1910, in Rio Creek, son of the late Leonard and Minnie (Schneider) Hoppe. He married Verna Bermann in Two Rivers; she preceded him in death on Oct. 6, 1989. Milton was employed at Plumbers Woodwork in Algoma for many years. Most people would remember him for his woodworking abilities.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death: Melvin Hoppe.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2008, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 17th and East Park streets, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Edward Stelter, with entombment to follow in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Two Rivers, on Thursday morning, March 6, 2008, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers, is assisting the Hoppe family with funeral arrangements.
