Louise Ihlenfeldt, 93, Kewaunee died Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at Emerald Shores Assisted Living.

She was born Aug. 2, 1913, in the town of Carlton, to the late Frank and Mary (née Mraz) Levy.

She married Millard Ihlenfeldt May 4, 1937, and he preceded her in death Dec. 29, 1997.

She and her husband farmed in the town of Carlton most of their life until retiring to Kewaunee in 1982. She worked at Larry and Mona's Restaurant for many years.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Martin Burkhardt, Wausau; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Ihlenfeldt, New London; and John and Diane Ihlenfeldt, Algoma; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Leone Koudelka, Kewaunee; one brother-in-law, Perley Ihlenfeldt and one sister-in-law, Mildred Ihlenfeldt, both of Kewaunee.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Leonard (Butch) Levy; sister-in-law, Sylvia (Stanley) Auseng; and three brothers-in-law, Emory Ihlenfeldt, Edward Ihlenfeldt and Frank Koudelka.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday, March 9, at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee, until time of services. Entombment will be in Knollwood Mausoleum.
