Mrs. A. C. Eckel Dies in Webster

Mrs. Amelia Catherine Eckel of 27 Elm St., Webster, formerly of Syracuse, died Sunday in Webster. She is survived by one son, the Rev. Sherman Eckel; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, all of Webster, one sister, Mrs. John Coop of Vero Beach, Fla. Prayer services will be at 8 p.m. today at the Smith & Loize Funeral Home, 10 Lapham Park, Webster. The Rev. Michael Salmen will officiate. Calling hours are 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Evangelical United Brethren Church, 823 Park St., Syracuse, where the Rev. Frederick Carlsen and the Rev. Dr. John D. Ryan will conduct services at 2 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Syracuse. Friends may contribute to the Memorial Fund of the Evangelical Brethren Church, Webster.
