Lloyd T. Crabb was born to Virgil Raney Crabb and Bessie Ables on February 20, 1917 in Como, Texas. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School in Hopkins County, Texas. He served as a lieutenant in World War II. He married Jean Karrle at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 1946 at the First Christian Church in Troy, Kansas by Rev. Biggs. He worked at A & P Grocery, Sunshine Biscuit Co. Dr. Pepper, Heatly Rental and Nationwide Equipment Rental.

On July 8, 1984, Lloyd was stricken by a stroke and a cardiac arrest. He was in ICU for 10 days, awaiting his coming out of coma. After he did, he had lots of complications so he was taken to Houston to the Methodist Hospital for rehab. On September 20th, he had another cardiac arrest and his temperature shot up to 106.7. From that time on, he never spoke nor barely moved. Then Wilma had him brought back to Beaumont on October 12 and placed him in Hamilton's Nursing Home. The HOME took good care of him. The doctors gave no hope for recovery.
He died January 27, 1985 in Beaumont, Texas.
