HIGH POINT, May 5 - Pfc. William Herbert Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Adams, of Jamestown, was killed in action on Iwo Jima on February 19. He entered the Marines in September 1942 and went overseas in September 1944. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mable Clinard Adams, Thomasville, and three brothers, James, Johnnie and Lester Adams, all of Jamestown.
