Joseph Sitman, 57, of Rt. 2, Cato, a Town of Franklin farmer, died Monday night at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been a patient two weeks. Funeral services will be at 9:30 am Thursday at Reedsville Funeral Home and at 10 am at St. Michael Catholic Church, Whitelaw. The Rev. Harold Reidy will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Sitman was born October 7, ?, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Anton and Lucille Cadwell Sitman. He married Margaret Meidl of Whitelaw, June 22, 1927.
Surviving him are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Bernard Kostechka of Whitelaw; a son, Robert on the home farm; two brothers, Clarence of Grimms and Herbert of Whitelaw and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home where the Rosary will be recited at 8:15 o'clock this Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
