Donald G. Kanter, age 69, of 431 Madison St., Reedsville, died Friday morning, Sept. 26, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer at Bellin Hospital, Green Bay.
Don was born on Sept. 24, 1939, in Brillion, son of the late George and Mary Burich Kanter. He married the former Joan M. Schultz on April 27, 1963, in Manitowoc. He worked for many years at Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry, retiring in 1999. Don was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Two Rivers Eagles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Royal and Florence Schultz; two brothers-in-law: Jerome Moller and Michael Stetson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 29, at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2601 South 10th St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Brian Staude will officiate. Entombment will follow at Knollwood Mausoleum.
Relatives and friends may call (TONIGHT) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home in Kellnersville and again at church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Donald's name.
