Bernice C Katerski, age 83, of Purvis, Mississippi, entered eternal rest Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at her residence.
Bernice was born Sept. 19, 1922, in Wausau. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Eva (née Pregont) Wojtkiewicz.
She was married to James J. Katerski, who has preceded her in death.
In past years, Bernice had been a member of the former Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Manitowoc.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: James and Lois Katerski, Sarasota, Florida; and Wayne and Virginia Katerski, Purvis, Mississippi; six grandchildren: Rebecca Katerski, Wayne (Kristina) Katerski II, Michael Katerski, Julie Katerski, Jonathan Katerski and James (Racheal) Katerski; eight great-grandchildren; six sisters; two brothers; nieces, nephews, along with other relatives and friends surviving.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James, along with two brothers and one sister.
Committal services will be held at Knollwood Mausoleum. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum.

Friends may call at Knollwood Mausoleum on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
