Lorraine Archibald Houghton was born January 6, 1919. She passed away on March 27, 2011 peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by her loving children Lindy Evans, Jim Houghton (Casey), Laurie Babb (Roger); grandchildren Jamie Evans, Katie Houghton, Molly, Hank, and Mitch Evans. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Elizabeth and Henry Archibald, first husband John E. Houghton, second husband Norman White, sister Margaret Ratcliffe, and brother Robert Archibald.
Lorraine and John were married for thirty-three years. He passed away in 1975. They raised their family at 1815 Carlisle Drive in San Marino, where they were active in the community.
Lorraine volunteered for many years with Huntington Hospital Sequi Group, San Marino Garden Club, and Meals on Wheels. In her later years, Lorraine and Norm enjoyed many travels and adventures.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Church of Our Saviour, 601 West Roses Road, San Gabriel.
