She was born December 27, 1926, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Frank and Marie (née Pacel) Cerny [often misspelled Cherny].

On November 26, 1949, she married Floyd R. Kluba at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc.

Ann was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1945. She then graduated from Holy Family School of Nursing in 1948. Ann also continued her education at Marquette University in the field of Parish Nursing. She was employed at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center as Head Nurse of the Obstetrics Department for over 28 years. She then retired as Nurse Manager of the DePaul Chemical Dependency Unit of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center In the past three years Ann also served as parish nurse for St. Casimir/St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd of Manitowoc; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Chuck Rue, Bellevue, Washington; Debra and Steve Mueller, Goshen, Indiana; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Debra Kluba, Mark and Tammy Kluba, all of Manitowoc; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Nicole and Joel Rue, Erin Mueller, Heath (Kristin) Kluba, Tara and Jenna Kluba; one great-granddaughter, Katelyn; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Helen and Clarence Rohrer (findagrave #197425951), Blanche Dueno, all of Manitowoc. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Cerny; and two sisters, Valasta Hanson and Mary Morris.
