Sheldon A. Koch, age 67, of 404 East Park View Lane, Manitowoc, died Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.

Shelly was born August 1, 1936 in Two Rivers, son of the late Harold Cornils and Faith (Marineau)Koch.

His career as a meatcutter included many local super markets and most recently Copps Food Center until his retirement in 1996.

On February 11, 1961 he was married to Barbara Gustavson in Milwaukee. They celebrated 42 years together. Family was his highest priority.

Shelly was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. He enjoyed music and was a member of the church choir and Clipper City Chordsmen for many years. He was a member of Manitowoc Golden K Kiwanis and Manitowoc Model Railroad Club. Shelly shared his time volunteering with the Senior Center meal delivery program, Visitor and Information Center, Habitat for Humanity and Holy Family-Memorial Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife: Barbara, their three children and families: Karl and Jeanne Koch and son Matthew, Manitowoc; Karen and Michael Surfus and daughters, Kimberly and Natalie, Brown Deer; Kaye and Jim Breister and daughter Emily, Appleton; adoptive father: Charles Koch, Manitowoc; brother: Douglas (Adele) Koch, Manitowoc; sister: Sharon (Chet) Jobelius, Crandon; special aunt: June Gauthier, Two Rivers; a nephew: Kevin (Marylee) Koch, Kasilof, Alaska; other relatives and many friends also survive.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, November 28, 2003 at St. Paul United Methodist Church, 411 Reed Avenue, Manitowoc. Rev. Larry McCann will officiate. Interment of his cremated remains will be in Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc at a later date. Relatives and Friends may call from 10:00am Friday at St. Paul United Methodist Church until the time of services at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Paul United Methodist Church or Habitat for Humanity would be appreciated.

The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc is serving the Koch Family.
