Clara M. Kottke, age 99, a former resident of Two Rivers, currently residing at North Ridge Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died Wednesday morning, April 18, 2007, at the home.
Clara was born Jan. 25, 1908, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine (Christoffel) Doncheck. On July 7, 1947, she married Julius H. Kottke in Crown Point, Ind. He preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 1987. They were residents of Manitowoc until his death at which time she moved to Two Rivers. Clara enjoyed housekeeping and worked most of her life in housekeeping positions. She was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Caroline Doncheck and Mildred Peterson; two brothers: Leon and Remus "Don" Doncheck; nieces and nephews: Chuck and Carol Peterson; and Jill Doncheck.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 20, 2007, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. William Kilps. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
The family will greet relatives and friends at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Friday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. The Klein & Stangel Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Two Rivers, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
Special thanks to the North Ridge nursing staff, housekeeping, physical therapy staff, who not only cared for Clara, but became her friends.
