Henry Kramer, age 90, a resident of St. Mary’s Home, Manitowoc, died on Saturday afternoon, Dec. 21, 2002 at the home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday Dec. 23, 2002 at Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Newton. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Kyle Sorenson, with burial to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, Highway 310, Manitowoc, where graveside military rites will be accorded by Amvets Post Number 99.
Henry was born on Feb. 8, 1912 in Suanerafka, Russia, the son of the late Andrew Sr. and Anna E. Weinberger Kramer.
He served in the United States Army from April of 1943 until January of 1946.
He married the former Genevieve Paszkiewicz on January 3, 1942 in Manitowoc.
Henry was employed by the Mirro Aluminum Company for 49 years, retiring as a Supervisor at Mirro Boat Plant. He was a member of the Amvets Post Number 99.
Survivors include his wife, Genevieve Kramer; one daughter, Dianne Hardow; one grandson, Michael (Kelly) Hardow; one granddaughter, Dena (Scott) Thomas, all of Manitowoc; six great grandchildren, one sister, Ann Dortman, Sheboygan; one Brother, Godfred Kramer, Wild Rose. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Henry was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 23, 2002 at the church. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
