LEONA M. KRANZ
Leona M. Kranz, age 92, a resident of River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc, died Wednesday, January 19, 2000, at River's Bend.
Leona was born May 21, 1907, in Juneau County, Wis., daughter of the late Charles and Ella Deglow.
She married Walter Kranz on June 28, 1937, in Waukegan, Illinois; he preceded her in death on September 17, 1984.
Survivors include three children, Betty (Bob) Stayton, Arizona; Allen Kranz, Florida; Patsy (David) Neuenfeldt, Manitowoc; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband; a great grandson; one brother and one sister.
A special thanks to the staff at River's Bend for their kind and compassionate care of our mom for the last four years. It was Mrs. Kranz's request to not have a religious Funeral Service, but to have her family and friends gather at the funeral home to pay their respects for one hour, on Saturday, January 22, 2000, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
