Lois O. Kucera, age 78, a resident of Parkview Haven, Manitowoc, died Friday, September 11, 1998, at her residence.
She was born October 25, 1919, at Axtell, Kansas, daughter of the late Victor J. and Huldah (née Swanson) Van Dorn.
Lois was employed with Illinois Bell as a supervisor for 21 years in the Chicago and Evanston, Ill. Offices. She was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church and the Manitowoc Senior Center.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Sharon Kucera, Green Bay; one daughter and son-in-law, Cindy Kucera and Gary Van Denusen, Neenah; one granddaughter, Nicole Kucera; one sister and brother-in-law, Kay and William Brandenburg of Novato, Calif. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving friend, Steven Kucera (also buried here, findagrave #106675489); one sister, Ruby Ohlson, and one brother, Leonard Van Dorn.
Private family services were held at Knollwood Mausoleum, with entombment following the service.
