Mary Frances Higgins, 72, a life long resident of Cleveland, died Thursday, Jan. 18, 2001, at her residence.

She was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church and was a former employee of Charleston Hosiery Mill.
She was the daughter of the late James and Bertha Pritchett. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Lowell Higgins; daughter Brenda Cofer, ang brother, Jim Pritchett.

Survivors include her son and daugther-in-law, Randall and Pam Higgins; two brother: Roy Pritchett and Ralph Pritchett, all of Cleveland; two granddaughters: Hillary Cofer of Athens and Kimberly Hammon of Etowah; two grandsons Phillip Higgins of Knoxville and Trevor Higgins of Cleveland; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Fike Funeral Home with the Rev. Bryan Mowery officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Paul Koger, Mike Pritchett, Miles Pritchett, Roger Pritchett, Shawn Pritchett, Scott Pritchett, and Bobby Ledford serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
