OBITUARY OF HORACE WILLIS(9) ALDRICH
taken from the Pawt.Times 5 April 1943

"Horace W.Aldrich,63, husband of Ethel (Carter) Aldrich, died last night at his home,72 Perrin Avenue.
Born in Franconia, N.H., son of the late Henry E.and Ada Miner Aldrich he had been a resident of this city for sixty years. He had been employed for 30 years by Lyons Delaney Company. For the past 12 years he was a production clerk at the Atlantic Woolen Mills, Providence.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gordon E Hunt of Dedham, Mass., and Mrs.J. Lowell Kennedy; one son sergt. Milton F.Aldrich of the Army Air Force, stationed in the South Pacific; two sisters, Mrs.Mary I.Morrison of Providence and Mrs.Clarence B. Remington of Diamond Hill; two brothers, Henry E.of Pawtucket,and William F.Aldrich of Brookline, N.Y.,and two grandchildren, Donald and Malcolm Hunt.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:30 a this home .Rev. William T.Townsend,rector of St.Martins Episcopal Church, will officiate."


NOTE: MRS.GORDON E.HUNT is their daughter HELEN; MRS. J. LOWELL KENNEDY is their daughter DOROTHY; MRS. MARY I. MORRISON is the only surviving daughter of HENRY EARLE(8) ALDRICH and his 1st wife, MARCELIA (HOWLAND) ALDRICH; HENRY E. is HENRY EARLE(9) ALDRICH,Jr, my grandfather; and WILLIAM F.(9) ALDRICH, HENRY EARLE(9)'s brother, lived in Brookline,Mass., not N.Y.
