A native of Napoleon, Ohio, he was a graduate of Mauldin High School, class of 2003 and a member of Mount Zion Christian Fellowship Church in Greenville. Eric was employed by Goodyear in Simpsonville as an auto technician.
He leaves behind his loving parents, Daniel and Rhonda McKnight. He is also survived by his brother, Scott McKnight; a very special niece, Bailey; paternal grandmother, Sue McKnight; maternal grandmother, Vivaline Hefflinger; and many special aunts, uncles and cousins.
