Hugh N. (Curley) Brizendine age 65 of Route 2, New Castle, died Friday in a Salem hospital.
He was a veteran of World War II, former employee of the State Corrections Department and former owner of the Pine Top Service Station.
Surviving are his sister Mrs. Margaret B. Harden, New Castle, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Crossroads Church, New Castle with the Rev. Alvin B. Radford officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel.
