He was a Carpenter by trade. He loved his alcohol. He serviced in the military and lived in Texas all his life. He had 1 son as a teenage that was named: Donald Lee ? (not sure of last name) but Virgil brother, Bobby says that the child was born in California. He had 5 children (Lou Ann Scott-Harris-Wooley Born 1939, died 2006 - Cremated, Ora Mae Scott-Janczak-Grimes born 1940, Virginia Lee Scott-Hensarling born 1942, Neil Odell Scott born 1944(died 1990 -Find A Grave Memorial# 106721384) and Betty Ruth Scott-Loth born 1948 with his first marriage to Ellen Louise Horn. Divorced her around 1954 and remarried Erna June Poole in Amarillo, Texas 1955. His first wife and 5 children moved to Houston, Texas and Virgil never tried to keep in contact with his children. He only came to Houston one time for just a few hours and never met any of his grandchildren except for 1 and that was because one of his daughters went to Amarillo to see him. The family stayed separated all those years.
