Geraldine Manuelita Robertson, 73, of Springfield, died at her home with her family by her side on Saturday, March 2, 2013.

She was born Oct. 5, 1939, in Santa Fe, N.M. to the late Joseph D. and Lula Herrera Qualls. She was a seamstress and worked for Susie Austin of Austin & Bell for several years and was a member of the Center Point Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Robertson is preceded in death by her daughter, Angela Lynette Robertson, granddaughter, Courney Renee Robertson and brothers, Kenneth Qualls, Jack Qualls, and James William Qualls.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 6, in the chapel of the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield with Brother Harold Miller officiating.

Burial followed in the Robertson County Memorial Gardens with Keith Sholar, Warren Hamaker, Paul Qualls Jr., Tracy Ayers, Ted Paisley, and Larry Perry serving as pallbearers.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to NorthCrest Hospice and may be sent in c/o Austin & Bell.

Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Springfield was in charge of these arrangements.
