Vivian Cleo Kennedy, 93, of Perry, Oklahoma, was the daughter of Floyd Herbert and Maudie Helen (Ritz) Epperson. She was born on November 14, 1919 in Eagleton, Arkansas and died Friday, March 15, 2013 at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma.

Vivian married her best friend and sweetheart, O.A. Kennedy on December 22, 1936 in Stigler, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on May 15, 2012.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, quilting and working in her flower beds, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Vivian will be remembered for her gentle caring nature and her loving personality that she always showed to everyone.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 18, 2013 at the Brown-Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, in Perry, Oklahoma. Pastor Richard Levings will officiate.

Interment will be Grace Hill Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Brown-Dugger Funeral Home.

Vivian is survived by one son, Leon Kennedy and his wife, Robin of Perry, Oklahoma; three daughters, Yvonne Tappe and her husband, Fred of Perry, Oklahoma, Peggy Leedom of Norman, Oklahoma, Patti Kerr and her husband, Melton of Norman, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; three step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; four step great-great grandchildren; one brother, Leo Epperson of Fresno, California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, O.A. Kennedy; her parents, Floyd and Maudie Ritz; two brothers; five sisters and one infant daughter.
