The body will lie in state Friday afternoon and evening at the Stedronsky funeral home. Burial will be in the Lake view Cemetery.
She was born July 25, 1895 in Bon Homme County to Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Arcogne and died April 7 at the Wagner hospital. On Aug. 29, 1961 she married William Memberto at Rapid City.
Mrs. Memberto, a member of the Yankton tribe, has been active in the community and church affairs, was active in 4-H and taught Indian lore and craft at Recreational camp at Nemo. In 1962 she went on a tour of Ireland with a group from the camp.
Survivors include her widower; four daughters, Mrs. Teheodora Means, Sioux City; Mrs. Lydia Kelder and Miss Vera Feather, Chicago, and Mrs. Faith Traversie, Eagle Butte; two sons, Buddy Feather, Tucson, Ariz., and Walter Feather, Wagner; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Schmidt, Spearfish, 19 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
