Earl Martin, age 72, of Nine Circle Drive, Brillion, passed away Thursday, December 14, 1995, at St. Vincent Hospital. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 19, 1995 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Brillion. Father Bill O'Brien will officiate with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum, Manitowoc.
Martin was born July 12, 1923 in Greenleaf, son of the late Joseph and Anna (Mauer) Martin.
On November 22, 1944 he married Bernice Hansen in Green Bay.
He worked at Northwest Engineering in Green Bay and Brillion Iron Works until his retirement. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Ralph Haberland, Brillion; one son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Susan Martin, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Jody and special friend, Todd Lau, Rick, Tricia, Doug and Special friend Joy Terry; his mother-in-law, Libbie Hansen, Green Bay; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Ellen White, DePere, Marcella and Ray Haberland, Green Bay; one brother Alfred Martin, DePere; three sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law, Rose Martin, DePere, Beverly and Roland Handler, Green Bay, and Joyce and Harold Gerandale, Brussels, special friends, Marty; JoAnn and Brian Pigeon, Mark and Lori Robinson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and a brother, Norris Martin, DePere.
Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, Monday from 5-9 p.m. with a parish vigil at 7:30 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 7:45-10 a.m. when family rites will be held. Special thanks to the ninth floor nurses at St. Vincent Hospital, Sister Irene Buschman, and Dr. Fredrick LaMont.
