LOUIS BORN, 62, DIES AT HOME
Town of Meeme Farmer Will Be Buried Thursday
Louis Born, 62, resident of Manitowoc county all his life with the exception of a few years during which he resided in Fond du Lac county, died at 3:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at his farm home in the town of Meeme, after having suffered a stroke at 7 o'clock in the morning from which he never regained consciousness. Mr. Born's death came as a great shock to his many friends since he had apparently been in the best of health. He was stricken while shoveling snow.

Mr. Born was born in Newton April 2, 1871. He lived on a farm with his brother Adam, deceased, until Nov. 7, 1915, when he was married to Miss Mathilda Fiedler. The couple located on the fielder homestead in town Meeme where they resided since then.

Beside his widow, Mr. Born is survived by four brothers, John and Jacob of this city, Henry of Cleveland and August of Collins.

Funeral services will be held at the Born farm home in town Meeme Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and at 2 o'clock at St. Jacobi Evangelical church, Spring Valley. The Rev. William Leonhardt will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
