Mrs. Hilda Kolb, 70, of 610 Fremont St., Kiel, died Thursday morning at Calumet Memorial Hospital, Chilton.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the St. James United Church of Christ, Spring Valley. The Rev. Kenneth Schultz will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Kolb, nee Hilda Wiegand, was born June 3, 1900, in the Town of Centerville, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Louis and Agnes Lutze Wiegand. She attended the district school in the Town of Centerville. She was married to John H. Kolb Dec. 20, 1919, at Manitowoc. The couple farmed in the Town of Meeme until 1950 when moving to School Hill where Mr. Kolb was active in the insurance business. He preceded her in death Dec. 18, 1962.
Mrs. Kolb moved to Kiel last year. She was a charter member of the Ladies Aid of St. James Church.
Survivors include two sons, John A. of Rt. 1, Cleveland, and Charles F. of Rt. 1, Newton; two sisters, a twin, Mrs. Elmer Brehm of Sheboygan, and Mrs. A.L. Wagner of Rt. 1, Cleveland, and five grandchildren. A grandaughter, two brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Meiselwitz Funeral Home, Kiel, after 3 o'clock this Friday afternoon until 11 a.m. Saturday and then at the church from noon until the time of services.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
