Meeme Farmer Is Victim of a Heart Attack
Intense heat Monday, which brought on a sudden heart attack, caused the death of Edmund Ohse, retired Meeme farmer, on the homestead a mile north of Spring
Valley. He was 80.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at 2 p.m. from the St. James Evangelical church, Spring Valley. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mr. Ohse was born in the town of Herman, Sheboygan county, in 1855, and moved to Meeme to take up a farm. He was married in 1893 to Mathilda Henschel, now deceased.

Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Edward Lartner, Chicago; Mrs. George Hemp, Cleveland, Wis., Mrs. Paul Withhuhn, Howards Grove; Mrs. John Steffen, Meeme; Mrs. Henry Plagemann, Newton; Mrs. Gustave Kroening, Sheboygan; three brothers, Julius, White, S.D., Henry, Custer, Wash. and August, Meeme; three sisters, Miss Minnie Ohse, Meeme; Mrs. Henry Krueger, Chicago; Mrs. Elizabeth Hammelmann, Dixon, Ill., and 11 grandchildren.
