CLIFFORD D. MEYER

Clifford D. Meyer, 62, of 1316 N 9th st, Manitowoc, died early Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmitt will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. [SEE NOTE]

Mr. Meyer was born May 30, 1914 at Manitowoc, son of the late Walter C. and Theresa Schrimpf Meyer. He attended Manitowoc schools and resided in Manitowoc all his life.

He married Irene Einberger April 29, 1950 at Manitowoc and was employed by Manitowoc Cemetery and Parks Dept for 30 years, retiring in March of 1977, due to illness.

He was a member of Northwestern Club of the Deaf, Fox River Valley Club of the deaf and Pope John Deaf Club, International Catholic Deaf Assn. and Deaf Community of St. John.

Survivors include his wife, three brothers, Sherb, Howard and Conrad, and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Weyenberg and Mrs. Ray (Ruth) Hense, of Manitowoc, and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 4 to 9 pm Tuesday, where a memorial service will be at 8 p.m.
