Duncan M. Funk was elected President of the First National Bank, Bloomington, Illinois in 1874 and held that position continuously up to the time of his death, having been elected after the consolidation of the First National and Third National banks.
Mr. Funk was assistant supervisor of the Bloomington Township for 21 years, trustee of the Soldiers' Orphans' Home for 18 years and served two terms in the state legislature.
