Alonzo Williams was born June 1885 in Jordon Branch, Shelburne county,Nova Scotia. he was the son of Ella Mary Maretta Ringer(1865-1890)& James Edward (Edwin) Williams(1860-1924) He was 5 years old when his mother died.He had one brother Joseph Samuel(1886-1962)& a sister Sarah Elizabeth(1889-1891) Baby Sarah died about 6 months after her mother's death. Alonzo married Mary Euphemia williams in Aug. 1906. She died @24 in 1909. He remarried in Gloucester Amanda Hohnson in 1917. Alonzo died at the State Emergency Hospital in Gloucester from influenza on Oct.5th 1918,he was 33 years old. His half Brother Hastings was in port @ the time & was near by when he died.
