Robert F. Nault, age 78, of Two Rivers, died Friday, July 3, 2009, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc.
He was born July 16, 1930, in Escanaba, Mich., son of the late Robert and Clara (Loeffler) Nault. Robert served in the United States Army.
In 1955 Robert married Paula Sue Olive. She preceded him in death on June 15, 1962. He then married Elizabeth (Courier) Palmquist on Jan. 26, 1964. She preceded him in death on July 27, 1978. Robert then married Elaine Chapman on July 1, 1987, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 20, 1996.
Robert was employed as a welder in the shipyards for the Manitowoc Company until his retirement.
He was a life member of the AMVETS and a past Commander for the AMVETS Post 123 in Escanaba, Mich.

Robert was also preceded in death by one daughter, Colleen Marie Nault, and one brother-in-law, James Maner.
A memorial service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home in Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Robert Drobka. Cremation has occurred at All-Care Cremation Center and Robert will be laid to rest at Knollwood Mausoleum at a later date.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, July 7, 2009, at the Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 4:30 p.m.
