Eugene A. Nelson, age 75, of 2220 S. 42nd St., Manitowoc, died on Monday morning, June 16, 2008, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Eugene was born on March 26, 1933, in Fond du Lac, son of the late Alva and Lena (Pease) Nelson. He was a graduate of Waupun High School and earned a Bachelors of Science Degree. Eugene was a Veteran of the U.S. Marines serving during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the V.F.W.
He was employed with Job Service of Manitowoc, retiring in 1995.
Eugene enjoyed spending time with his friends at Friar Tucks.

Eugene was also preceded in death by one son: Scott Nelson; one granddaughter: Shawn Nelson; one great grandson: Carter Khail; one sister and two brothers-in-law: Patricia and Wallace Miller, Donald Friese.
Private family services will be held at Knollwood Masoleum, town of Kossuth. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Steven Solberg with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum. The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
