Funeral Services Held for Kenneth Venton
Funeral services for Kenneth Venton, 47, were held Wednesday monring at 10:30 at the Sprague Funeral home with the Rev. William C. Wood, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. The body was placed in the Riverside cemetery vault to await burial in the spring.
Mr. Venton, former resident of North Gouverneur, died early Monday morning in the Hepburn hospital, Ogdensburg, where he had been a patient two days.
He had been in an Ogdensburg hospital two years.
Mr. Venton is survived by a step-mother, Mrs. Effie Venton, Oxbow, and two sisters, Mrs. Arnold (Artie) Byrns, West Fowler; and Mrs. Lillian Aldrich, Gouverneur.
Mr. Venton was born at Theresa on March 26, 1908 the son of George and Bertha McGill Venton.
