ARNOLD J. NOVAK SR

Arnold J. Novak Sr, age 71, of 508 S. 25th St., Manitowoc, died at his residence.

He was born April 9, 1922, Town of Kossuth, son of the late James and Emily (née Kunz) Novak.

He served in the Army during World War II from November 1942 to January 1946 and then married the former Lila Bindert August 12, 1950, at Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death November 13, 1985.

Mr. Novak was employed with the Mirro Aluminum Company for over 20 years. He then owned and operated a tavern with his wife known as "Arnie and Lila's" until the couple retired.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Arnold J. Jr. and Judith Novak, Milwaukee, Jeffery A. Sr., and Peggy Novak, Manitowoc; six grandchildren, Briana, Amanda, Adam, Jeff Jr, Jessica and Jason; Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Funeral Services will be at St. John's United Church of Christ, Manitowoc with entombment at Knollwood Mausoleum, Town of Kossuth.
