MARCELLA T. NOVAK

Marcella T. Novak, 71, of 2026 Herman Rd., Manitowoc, died Sunday, December 29, at Manitowoc Health Care Center.

Mrs. Novak was born July 12, 1914, in the town of Gibson, Manitowoc County, daughter of the late Matt (died 1930) and Annie (née Robinson) Hronek.

She married John G. Novak on January 16, 1933 in Menominee, Michigan. The couple celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary in 1983.

Mrs. Novak was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. She was employed at Manitowoc Checker Cab until retiring in 1980.

Survivors include her husband, John G.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Shirley Novak of South Daytona, Florida, and Norbert and Paulette Novak of Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Alice and Clarence Kusch of Portland, Oregon; a brother, Lester Hronek of Mishicot; two sisters, Mrs. Elmer (Esther) Ray and Mrs. George (Lillian) Troullier, both of Mishicot; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond, a granddaughter, Cindy Novak and an infant son.

Funeral services will be at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc; burial and entombment will be in Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum.
