ABBOTT, JR., JERRY T., 26, of Millville, died Friday afternoon as a result of an automobile accident. Born in Millville, he was a lifelong resident.

He was a graduate of Millville High School, Class of 1992. While in school, he played on the baseball and tennis teams.

He is a member of the Army Reserve as a medic. He was employed at the R.U.S. Uniform Rental Co. in Millville for one year and the Quick Lube Company in Vineland for over three years. He enjoyed A.T.V. and motorcycle riding, and motor cross events. He also enjoyed golfing and his dog, Gonzo. He played pool and was on a local league playing every Tuesday night.

He is survived by: his mother and father, Darlene (Watson) and Jerry T. Abbott, Sr. of Millville; one sister, Cynthia Abbott-Gaffney of Deptford; paternal grandparents, William J. and Henrietta Abbott of Millville; maternal grand-parents, William and Pearl Watson of Lancaster, PA; several uncles/aunts.

Funeral services will be held at Barbetti Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street, Millville. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Cedarville. Friends will be received at the funeral home.
