Clair McCracken, 49, of Indiana, RD 3, passed away Thursday, May 17, in Memorial Hospital, Johnstown. Born December 20, 1906, In New Millport, he was a
son of Mark and Mayme Norris McCracken.
He was a member of Local Union No. 850 of Revloc.
Surviving are his wife, Nellie Jane Helman McCracken; these children, Mrs. Betty Ruffner, Indiana, RD 3; Mrs. Margaret Nyland, Lewisville, Ohio; Robert, Indiana; Mrs. Ruth Mitchell, Ebensburg, RD; Thomas, U. S. Navy, San Francisco, Calif.; William, Indiana, RD 3; Elcy, Olive Mayme,
Harry Lynn, Rodney Blair, Roger Glenn, all at home; five grandchildren; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark McCracken, Salem, Oregon. These brothers and sister also survive: Gordon, Marion Center; Kenneth, Penn Run; Mrs. Glenn Swartz, Beechcreek; Mrs. William
Askey, Salamanca, N. Y. Friends will be received at the Bence Funeral Home, Clymer, after 7 p.m. Saturday, May 19, where services will be conducted
Monday, May 21, at 2 p.m. The Rev. Clayton Straw will officiate and interment will follow in Oakland
Cemetery, Indiana.
