GARDNERS - Jennie P. Gardner, 106, formerly of Gardners, died yesterday in Bethany Village Retirement Center, Lower Allen Twp.
She was retired from Knouse Canning Co., and was a member of Uriah United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and Woman's Christian Temperance Union. She was a former Adams County Republican committeewoman.
She was the widow of Charles M. Gardner. Surviving are three daughters, Pauline Nell of Panama City, Fla., Marion Coulson of Dillsburg, and Jean Reaser of Aspers; 14 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and 39 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday in her church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the church.
The Pittenturf Funeral Home, York Springs, is handling arrangements.
